Over the years, Odoo has evolved enormously, bringing consumers from all over the world. Odoo concentrated on localization for Chile in order to reduce the entry barriers for new consumers, allowing our apps to comply with local business rules and conditions. Odoo allows the required customizations for a general purpose to be used in a specific country. In this scenario, Chilean companies have been presented with an accounting advancement that has been a norm for other companies also.

Install the Chilean localization package from odoo apps. Go to apps and search for chile, which displays the accounting modules associated with Chile localization.

If the country chosen is Chile at the time of database creation, then the localization package will automatically be installed in it.

The Chilean localization involves the following modules:

Chile Accounting(l10n_cl): this module introduces the basic accounting features required to operate companies in Chile under the SII (Servicio de Impuestos Internos) rules and regulations.

Chile E-invoicing(l10n_cl_edi): this module provides all the functional and technical requirements for generating and receiving the electronic invoices through web service as per SII rules.

Chile accounting Reports(l10n_cl_reports) : provides Accounting reports for Chile ‘Propuesta F29 ’ and ‘Balance Tributario (8 columnas)’
