Off The Grid 1/3 - How to get started, earn HEX and GUNZ as a noob - Beginners Guide
485This guide and video was designed for those who are either new to Off The Grid and the genre of Battle Royal, Extraction based game, not great at FPS and enjoy a slow pace of learning the basics.
EDIT - I mention there are things you need to know at lvl3 - This was access to the marketplace but it seems you need a OTG Pro account to do that now, you can get a 3 day FREE trial to buy and sell anything you need. I recommend preparing what you want before the trial so you can be effective with your time.
I also forgot to call in my Loadout to show you. Basically you press and hold B and select your loadout. As long as you have the cash to buy it. Then select a safe space to call the drone and wait for it to drop (15 seconds) When you open your loadout box you will auto equip all your items.
EDIT - The Blockchain transactions in early access are on Testnet - this means that whilst they are live, they are not technically real. This is why it's mentioned that the GUNZ token could expire / reset.
They mentioned they will merge the items over to mainnet on launch so you wont loose any NFTs you have minted but the GUNZ token will likely reset to clean the economy and balance before the Web3 token launch at a later date.
Also my personal opinion is that the success of this game is due to it NOT launching a token. It distracts the typical crypto game that is a pump and dump / scam and I welcome those learning about a blockchain marketplace organically without the game using buzzwords for hype marketing.
