Here are 5 tips that should help prevent you from being farmed or bashed. These won't completely prevent you from being attacked, but hopefully should help

If you know someone who is getting attacked a lot, or it's happening to yourself then this video is definitely worth a watch, and with a bit of luck will help you get attacked less often

There are situations where players will attack you no matter what you do, but fortunately this does not happen too often. You can always turn off all mines or use vacation mode if having major problems though
