LEGO Fortnite: Expeditions – Squad Up and Save the Day! 🦸♂️ 🧱 (New Update Explained)
A brand-new PvE adventure has arrived in LEGO Fortnite! Starting June 18, dive into LEGO Fortnite: Expeditions, the latest co-op experience available in Odyssey, Brick Life, or directly through the Discover tab. Join forces with up to 3 other players as you enroll in the Supernova Academy, unlock heroic powers, and take the fight to the evil Mask Maker Daigo before it’s too late!
🚌 Hop on the Battle Bus and jump into epic Missions spread across new locations like:
Utopia City – Evacuate citizens and defend against chaos.
Spire Excavation Site – Uncover Daigo’s secrets beneath the earth.
Busted Bridge – Patch things up…until it breaks again.
Demon’s Domain (coming soon!) – Face Daigo in his fortress HQ!
🔥 What is LEGO Fortnite: Expeditions?
It’s a mission-based PvE mode where you complete 4-player co-op Missions, defeat waves of enemies, explore the world, and level up your chosen Hero Class. Each Mission grants Hero XP, powering up your skills and unlocking new abilities. You’ll also help the global community by contributing to Community Projects and completing Academy Assignments from characters like Vengeance Jones, Hope, and Morgan Myst.
🦸 Hero Classes You Can Play As:
Shadow Caller – Summon shadows, fly over the battlefield, and heal allies.
The Hunter – Close-range assassin with traps, grappling hooks, and powerful strikes.
Rift Ripper – Harness rift energy for crowd control and team buffs.
Each class features its own unique Skill Tree and can be swapped out at any time via the Hero Class Terminal in the Academy.
⚔ ️ Tools & Weapons
Earn Essence from Missions and trade it with Vendors at the Academy to get new weapons and gadgets:
Dual Daggers – Fast melee combat with Spiral Cuts and Dashing Strikes.
War Hammer – Two-handed tank weapon with devastating ground slams.
Plasma Pistols – Ranged weapons with powerful dash and spin attacks.
💡 Pro Tip: Equip up to 3 gadgets for bonus stats and combat boosts!
👿 Enemies You’ll Face in Expeditions:
Spires – Sentient crystal beings spreading chaos.
Light & Heavy Demon Guards – Elite troops wielding powerful gear.
Kor – A teleporting mini-boss with high-speed attacks.
Titans – Giant threats best tackled with a full squad.
Mask Maker Daigo – The ultimate villain behind it all. Only true heroes can defeat him.
🌍 Expeditions + Odyssey/Brick Life Integration
You don’t have to leave Odyssey or Brick Life to play Expeditions — just find a Battle Bus Station in either mode to access it. Starting June 18, you’ll even be able to craft Expedition weapons in Odyssey. Hero Classes are also coming to Odyssey soon!
🎮 Customization
While you can’t use Build or Decor items in Expeditions, you CAN bring any Outfit with a LEGO Style — including new superhero skins from the current Battle Pass, like Superman (coming July)!
What is LEGO Fortnite?
Launched in December 2023, LEGO Fortnite is a major collaboration between Epic Games and The LEGO Group, offering a collection of LEGO-themed game modes inside the Fortnite platform. It reimagines Fortnite gameplay through the lens of LEGO — blending survival, creativity, co-op missions, and more, all at LEGO minifigure scale.
🔑 Core Modes & Features:
LEGO Fortnite: Odyssey – A survival crafting game inspired by Minecraft and Valheim. Players gather resources, build structures, craft tools, fight enemies, and manage survival needs (like hunger and temperature) in expansive, LEGO-built worlds.
LEGO Fortnite: Brick Life (2024) – A social life simulation game described as a family-friendly version of Grand Theft Auto, focused on fun, freeform living and creativity.
