Old Man's Testimony | Ace Attorney Part 34
1In today's episode, we get the old man's testimony!
The reason that Case 4, Turnabout Goodbyes will be the final case in this let's play is for a few reasons.
1.) This case was originally the final case. When this game was originally released, the game ended after this case. As such, in the second and third games, there is no mention at all of case 5 (as it did not exist yet.) The fifth case was only added in the DS rerelease as a tech demo for what the system could do. Once I finish the original trilogy, I'll go back and beat case 5 (as it's needed for future games.)
2.) Length. The fifth case is almost as long as all of the other cases combined.
3.) Thematically, I just like this case as the final case. We solve a 15-year-old murder that was important to both this case, but also the second case. Also, Manfred Von Karma as the prosecutor just feels like a final boss, doesn't he?
