The NCR had proven themselves to be a difficult thorn for the Courier's forces.

However the truth of the matter was that the terrain and the lack of any decent infrastructure meant that any significant force on the march would suffer high levels of attrition thus making themselves easy prey to the NCR Hit and run style attacks.

However, fresh units could easily be sent to the front and whether the ever decreasing NCR forces. A breakthrough could be expected at any moment.
