I really enjoyed the holiday events when I first played Runescape. Hell, I started playing for the first time during the Christmas 2005 event! Of course, I didn't realize it was a thing and I missed a super rare item that would have made me a millionaire, but oh well~

Doing Holiday events nowadays gives you every single item from years past as well as the new items for the current year. It's wicked cool having an entire set of partyhats, given that they used to be worth billions of gold back in the day, heh heh!

I missed last the last Christmas event, so I can't compare the two, but this one was alright. I liked the puzzle that involved figuring out which present to give Carol by asking everyone for hints. That was fun. And I can't hate the fact they technically dropped 100k gold right in my lap!
