In 2014, OMEGA announced its involvement in "Time for the Planet", an initiative that includes two environmental conservation projects on Tanakeke Island and in Bahoi in Indonesia. Together, OMEGA and the GoodPlanet Foundation will help teach the local community on the island about the importance of mangroves and sea grass beds, the role each village member plays in the protection of marine eco-systems and how they can live more sustainably.
