I dove into the world of programming in #OmegaCrafter and was very pleased with it. It serves as a great visual aid for someone who wants to learn programming or is interested in it, and it also has great gameplay aspects. Sure, it has some room for improvement, but for a game just starting out, I think it's doing well.

The customizable robots are a colorful touch to a growing world, and the programming just adds to it, keeping you coming back for more. It makes you wonder, "how can I improve this to make it run better? What if I try this instead?" It's that very aspect of the game that keeps you addicted to it.

The game is sure to appeal to anyone familiar with programming, from beginner to expert, and the programs can be as simple or as convoluted as you want - the only limits are your imagination and creativity.

Customizing your character and leveling them up while building your city is also nice, and being able to automate the crafting, gathering, etc. of the city adds a strong balance to the solid foundation that it already has. I will definitely be playing this game more, and hopefully with friends. Helping your friends program their robots (called "Grammis") is fun as well, especially by taking screenshots of your programs and sharing them to show them, "hey, here's how I did it, try this."

Definitely give this a try and pick it up on Steam. The price tag is reasonable for the amount of gameplay and engrossment that you receive. Tell us what you think of Omega Crafter in the comments below!
