As of today, 02-27-2024 there is a bug in No Man's Sky at least for PC which can freeze ones controls once they accept the final reward for the Omega Expedition. I have found a way to work around this bug so ones controls will not lock up after accepting the final reward and getting the expedition complete notification which is the point the game will freeze.
