RULES OF THE NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE:

1: You can only catch the first Pokémon you find on said route.

2: If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead, you must either release it or box it in the PC.

3: All Pokémon must be nicknamed to form a relationship/attachment.

4: A whiteout/blackout is considered a loss, even if there are back up Pokémon in the PC.

5: Dupes clause: Pokémon that have already been cannot be caught again, this allows another encounter on said route.
