Omi Plays Devil May Cry 1 HD Part 8
1Recorded on 10-10-23. Mission 16: Nightmare of Darkness. This mission has a lot going on,at least with Blue Orbs. There's a full one right at the start. Going back into the Arena after leaving it triggers a Secret Mission,Stairway of Tranquility. Gotta use a bunch of Sargasso Skulls as stepping stones to reach an Orb. Once you use the Wheel of Destiny to get back into the Castle,there's another 2 Blue Orbs in the Foyer. You also fight a new enemy there: a Plasma. They can multiply when hit,and copy some of Dante's attacks. The Boss you face later is called Nightmare. You have to hit the switches to force it into it's physical form,then attack a Core when it appears. Charged attacks from Ifrit do a LOT of damage to it. Once defeated,if you backtrack a couple rooms,you'll trigger another Secret Mission: Shadow of Darkness. You have to find and defeat 4 Shadows in a couple rooms for this Blue Orb. Mission 17: Parted Memento. You can trigger a secret mission at the start,by crossing the broken bridge without falling. This one is called Blue Gem in the Sky. Another new enemy later on called Frosts,which are essentially enhanced Blades. We gotta collect an item called Quicksilver here,which we get from deflecting fireballs back at a dinosaur skeleton. This culminates in the 3rd and final battle with Nelo Angelo!
