1Ness,Paula,and Jeff are taking the Bus to Eagland's biggest town of Fourside. However,the bus is stopped on the way there due to a giant traffic jam. The only way through it will be to hoof it through the nearby Dusty Dunes Desert. There's a Drug Store near the start where you can buy some things,including a Mr. Baseball Bat,Deluxe Fry Pan,and a Coin of Slumber. You should also buy a couple Wet Towels. While crossing the scorching desert,one of your characters may end up suffering from Heat Stroke. You can use a Wet Towel to cure this status effect. Enemies in the desert include Criminal Caterpillar,Bad Buffalo,Crested Booka,Cute Li'l UFO,Desert Wolf,Skelpion,and Smilin' Sphere. The Spheres explode upon death like the Trees from earlier,so make sure they're defeated last in combat. The Wolves and Scorpions can both Poison you. Noteworthy items include Double Burger,Lifenoodles,Big Bottle Rocket,Contact Lens,and a PSI Caramel. The Miner's Shack is found on the East side of the area,where you can rest for free. Make sure to give the Miner outside a Food item,and he'll help you out soon.
