Finishing up the Gold Mine dungeon. Defeated 3 of the 5 Guardian Diggers last time,and dealing with the other 2 here. Once all 5 are gone,all other enemies inside the area vanish. Go talk to the Miner outside (as well as taking this chance to rest at their shack),and he'll soon have a reward for you. As you make your way back to Fourside,you'll be stopped by the Miner's brother George. They didn't find any treasure,but they did dig up a Diamond! He gives it to you as thanks. You can use this Diamond to free the Runaway Five at the Topolla Theater! Give it to the Manager inside,and she'll rip up their contract. You'll get to see their last show with the singer Venus. Also,at this point the large Department Store in town finally opens up. I took some time to sort out my inventory beforehand,since we're gonna be losing Paula soon. Make sure to give any Items and equipment you may want onto Ness or Jeff. As you try to leave the Department Store,a strange creature ends up abducting Paula!
