Time to fight the Bosses of the Fortress! You'll start off fighting "Bowser" who only has 10 HP. Once it's gone,you'll then fight the Koopa Bros for real. Each one has 5 HP. When all 4 are alive and kicking,they can stand atop each other to do their special spinning attack for 4 damage. You'll need to knock 'em off balance,using Mario's Hammer and Bombette's Body Slam. If you have some Fire Flowers and POW Blocks saved,you can easily dispatch them once they're knocked over. You'll rescue Eldstar once all 4 are defeated! Next,you'll get to play as Princess Peach temporarily. After finding a secret passage out of her room,she finds Bowser's diary,and learns the location of the next Star Spirit. It's being held in Dry Dry Ruins in Dry Dry Desert! Back with Mario,he gains his first Star Power,Refresh. Star Energy can be restored in combat each turn,by Focusing,and by resting at a Toad House. On the way back to Toad Town,we found an FP Plus Badge,and fought against Jr. Troopa again.
