Omi's Video Game Vault: Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
1Released for the Playstation 1 in 1999. Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos. 2nd entry in the Legacy of Kain series. This time you take on the role of Raziel,a former lieutenant of Kain. He ends up killed by Kain,but is brought back to life by the Elder God to become his Soul Reaver. In contrast to the previous game,this is a fully 3D adventure. There are still enemies to fight and puzzles to solve,a lot of those being block/box puzzles. This game is notorious for it's block puzzles. There are 2 versions of the world to explore: The real world and the spectral realm. Once again the writing and voice acting for this game are fantastic. Played up to doing a couple of the first block puzzles of the game.
