This game takes place during World War 1,the Great War. More specifically,it's set during the Battle of Verdun,that bloodiest battle of the war that almost lasted an entire year in 1916. You play as a French soldier named Andre. He's on the lookout for his brother Pierre,whom he promised to bring back home safely. Chapter 1 has you defend the Front Line against the onslaught of the German Army. You'll have to hold out while trying to defeat any enemies that slip through. When victory seems at hand,the enemy launches a gas attack! You escape,but end up bonked and captured by an enemy soldier. In Chapter 2,the game really opens up. The Trench Key opens up more portions of the Support Trench,opening new areas to explore. Just watch for the enemy,they can pop out at any time. There's a Merchant you can find at various Safe Rooms. He'll sell you Items for Cigarettes,and can upgrade your Weapons with Gun Parts.
