Even though I had to abandon a fight early, I have finally gotten the Mark II Battle Barge it's level in, and the first critical upgrade to fielding it properly in the extended range lances, giving me more breathing room for a ship that can very easily be charged down by a mobile fleet.
Hopefully it will see some real use soon, but with the trouble I am having with Chaos so far, will things turn in my favor when the Chaos fleet lacks their upgrades and favors that have been overpowering me?
