In this “On Location” video segment with Councilwoman Laura Pastor, the councilwoman interviews high school students Jose Sanchez and Estevan Jimenez about a community outreach effort to identify the obstacles – and the ways past them – for teens and young adults to find meaningful work or post-secondary education. Councilwoman Pastor led the outreach effort and produced a report on what the obstacles, and potential solutions, are to get youth ages 16-24 in employment or higher education.
