On My Block Season 2 started off right where the last one ended well sort of, it did catch us up to speed fast however. It seems that when we started the new season we saw the aftermath of the faithful night a whole month later. We see Monse and Ceaser still tending to their relationship, Jamal now has the money, Ruby is suffering through PTSD, and sadly Olivia is dead. If you don’t want to read just listen to the video below but if you do just keep reading below. The season revolves around three main plot lines, Ruby trying to get back to a normal life, Jamal and the gang figuring out how to clean the money, and Ceaser going from home to home until they can figure out a plan to keep him safe. On My Block in its first season really gave us memorable as well as hilarious moments and I feel season 2 doubles that honestly. The show felt more cohesive and fuller than last season and that’s saying a lot because I loved season 1 but lets talk about the ending and where we could be headed. The season as I said had a lot of build up as to what exactly would be Ceasers fate and if the gang would be able to save him or not. In the final episode all those questions are answered and the elaborate plan between Spooky and Ceaser to get the profits to leave Ceaser and his friends alone comes through. Ceaser pretends to be snitching out the Santos and also paying for the protection of his friends. Spooky goes to save Ceaser by using the rollerworld money to bail him out and finds out that Ceaser has ratted a safe house out to the Prophets thus delivering a punch to Ceasers gut. As they leave everyone now being safe they bust into laughter as the plan worked. Yes both Spooky and Ceaser worked together to dupe the Prophets by not actually giving the Rollerworld money but in fact marked money the Santos had stolen earlier in the season. The next day we see the Prophets all go to jail over the marked money meaning the gang is now safe right? Wrong because in the final seconds we see all four of the gang be taken by masked figures and put in a van the end. What the fuck just happened? Well there’s many theories floating around as to who is behind the kidnappings and those include, the FBI, los santos, Chivo, prophets, and Monse’s mom?! First of all why would Monse’s mom kidnap them? The FBI would never do a kidnapping like that because they could just call them up or arrest them. Chivo has no reason to kidnap them because he already has the one he wanted, Juanita. It’s either Los Santos or The Prophets and I’m leaning more towards Los Santos because of the money. I believe that some of the santos might not have liked the fact that Spooky gave some of their money in order to save someone they all ex communicated. I still think its possible this is a solid theory but I think the most bulletproof one has to be that it is the prophet that in fact committed this. Its Ludacris to think that all the prophets could’ve been arrested so I think a small group of maybe superiors found out what happened and are taking revenge. what do you think happened though?
