In the golden years of Fahrul's history, King Bronner's peaceful rule brought prosperity to the entire kingdom. But as his reign of majesty neared its end, events took a dark turn.

These are the first words with which the introductory film of For the King II opens, the long-awaited sequel to the successful first chapter of IronOak Games which was for me a very pleasant discovery within the RPG and board games panorama. Yes, because this game, although apparently simplistic and with rather elementary graphics, contains within itself a plurality of genres with all the technical refinements that make it a great little pearl within the reference panorama.

For those who don't know the title, know that it is, in simple terms, a simple Dungeons & Dragons, that is to say a fantasy role-playing game that doesn't take itself too seriously, but which manages in its own small way to offer that genuine and fun role-playing experience, expertly adapting it to the classic dynamics of turn-based board games.

The differences with the first chapter will not be many, but they undoubtedly go towards developing an already winning formula, adding here and there some gems that alone are worth the price of the ticket for this new adventure in the mythical world of Fahrul.
