This is my favourite song from Anastasia and I knew i had yo butcher it at some point. I used to run around singing the music score to this film as a child, and still do to this day clearly. xD I hope you all enjoy this!

I have always adored Anastasia. It was a favourite film of mine growing up. When I was a child I loved watching videos before bed. Anastasia was sometimes watched multiple times a week, due to how much I enjoyed it. I remember sitting on my bedroom floor mesmerised- it added to my desire to become a voice actress- not that I'm good enough for that but one can still dream I suppose. I longed to create something wonderful such as this, something that people could enjoy for decades. I always adored the dialogue to this film as it felt realistic, the songs were delightful and the storyline was fantastic. It's sort of what you wish did happen in real life, rather than the cruel fate her and her family endured. There's an element of truth in the story, and that's what makes it fantastic, yet, dark all at once, especially when you become older.

Fox did an excellent job with this one.. the DVD I own is over 15 years old and still works fine to this day. I am slightly annoyed that Disney own the rights to Fox, as now people are saying the film belongs to Disney.

It doesn't.

Disney bought the rights to Fox, however despite this Fox still runs as their own company. Disney did not create Anastasia, or anything fox has done over the years. It will never be theirs. If my memory serves me well Disney attempted to sabotage Anastasia, that and Nests Family Entertainments "The Swan Princesses" original releases.. they didn't succeed with Anastasia.

Just to clarify, I am not disliking Disney as a whole or trying to be disrespectful as there are many, many people working for the company. Many I presume are lovely, and they have produced some wonderful animations in their time. I shall always admire the films they have created, I just dislike how childish they behaved when it came to releases such as this.. and how money driven they have become over the years, however most company's become like that so it's nothing new unfortunately.

If Anastasia ever "officially" becomes a Disney Princess I shall riot and most likely tantrum like a petulant child. -laughs-
