I’ve wanted to find the absolute best charging cable. A single usb c cable to charge all my devices (Surface Pro 7+ included) if I am traveling or going for a little work road trip. I don’t want to bring 4 charging solutions. The problem is that most of them are garbage or missing a really important aspect. I need high power 18w lighting, 60w minimum PD usb c and micro usb chargers all in one cable. So I’ve been researching to find a solution and have tested out over 10 different cables. Here is some of my findings and my goals. I needed to post this video for a few reasons. I plan on selling the best option I can find. Mostly because I haven’t found anyone selling one that is as good as I want it to be. None of them check all the important boxes for me. The red cable in this video might work but I need to test it more and as I mentioned I have a few additional cables to test first. This is the same problem for me with tablet stands. None of the ones on the market check all the right boxes. So I’m looking at getting a custom one made that does.
I think the order that all of this is done is important. It’s important to me anyway as someone who does reviews. Unlike some people my goal isn’t to review as many products as possible. It’s simply to find the solution that works best and help people connect with that solution. I also absolutely want to make money promoting great products and really wish other reviewers understood why that’s okay to do if you do it the right way. A bit of a rant but I think an important point.
