The stuff you can do with just one side of a gamepad, given there's enough buttons on it.
If you're not familiar with this gamepad, on the back of it there's 4 buttons, 2 on each side of your grip. On my right hand's side I bind gyroscope activator to one button and key 1 to the other. The trigger is analog, bound to right mouse click (aim down sight). there's another trigger state toward the full pull where it will register left mouse click (firing gun). That's how I can aim and fire using just one trigger.

Pure gyroscope (no stick aim)
