So wie auch sein Vorgänger wurde "Ninja Gaiden II" ebenso wohlwollend von Fans aufgenommen und bot mehr desselben brutalen Schwierigkeitsgrades und das gleiche hohe Maß an Herausforderungen so wie eine hochpräzise Steuerung und fair gesetzte Checkpoints.
