Eine Stunde Gameplay von "The Last of Us", einem Action Adventure / Survival-Spiel entwickelt von Naughty Dog und veröffentlicht von Sony im Jahre 2013 für die Playstation 3, mit einer 2014 für die Playstation 4 veröffentlichten Remaster-Version, hier gezeigt in ebendieser Remaster-Version.
Das Spiel dreht sich um Joel, welcher zu Beginn des Spiels im Ausbruch einer Pandemie, bei dem sich Menschen in willenlose und blutrünstige Kreaturen verwandeln seine Tochter Sarah in seinen Armen sterben sehen muss.
Aufgrunddessen lebt Joel zwanzig Jahre später in dieser neuen postapokalyptischen Welt als gebrochener Mann und sichert sich sein Überleben durch das Schmuggeln von diversen Waren zusammen mit seiner Komplizin Tess.
Eines Tages jedoch wird er von der Widerstandsorganisation "Fireflies" dazu gebracht, ein junges Mädchen namens Ellie quer durch die USA zu begleiten da sie durch ihre Immunität gegenüber der Pandemie die letzte Hoffnung auf die Rettung der Menschheit darstellt.
"The Last of Us" war eins der sich am besten verkaufenden Spiele der Playstation 3 Ära und wurde von Fans und Fachpresse gleichermaßen hoch wertgeschätzt.

The game revolves around Joel, who at the beginning of the game at the outbreak of a pandemic which has people transforming into mindless and bloodthirsty creatures has to see his daughter Sarah dying in his arms.
Due to this Joel lives in this new post apocalyptic world twenty years later as a deeply emotionally damaged man and secures his survival by smuggling various commodities together with his partner Tess.
One day though he is tasked by the resistance group "Fireflies" to accompany a young girl named Ellie on a long trip through the USA, since due to her being seemingly immune to the effects of the pandemic she marks mankinds last hope of rescue from the pandemic.
"The Last of Us" was one of the best selling games of the Playstation 3 era and was universally acclaimed by press and fans alike.
