Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Trine", einem Puzzle-Plattformer entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Frozenbyte im Jahre 2009 für Windows PC und Playstation 3, 2010 für Mac, 2011 für Linux so wie als Remake namens "Trine: Enchanted Edition" im Jahre 2014 für Linux, OS X, Playstation 4 und Windows PC so wie in 2015 für die Wii U und im Jahre 2018 für die Nintendo Switch, hier gezeigt in der PC-Fassung der "Enchanted Edition" von Steam.

Im Spiel übernimmt man die Rolle der drei Charaktere Zoya, der Diebin, Amadeus, des Zauberer so wie Pontius, des Ritters und muss mit diesen diverse Abschnitte bestreiten in welchen Rätsel gelöst, Feinde bekämpft und Hüpfpassagen bewältigt werden müssen. Jeder der Charaktere hat unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten und Charakteristika, welche für manches Puzzle clever kombinert werden müssen, oftmals gibt es auch mehrere Möglichkeiten ein bestimmtes Puzzle zu lösen, ja nach Fähigkeiten des Spielers und vorhandenen Charakteren. Begleitet wird das Ganze von wunderschöner märchenhafter Musik, Grafik und Erzählung, ein bisschen wie ein modernes Märchen zum selber spielen.

Das Spiel war seinerzeit ein Geheimtipp und gefiel Fans und Presse gleichermaßen gut, was letzten Endes dazu führte dass bis heute bereits 4 Nachfolger des Spiels erschienen sind.

In the game the player takes on the roles of the three characters Zoya the Thief, Amadeus the Wizard and Pontius, the Knight and has to make his or her way through passages involving puzzle solving, fighting and platforming. Each of the characters has different abilities and stats, which oftentimes have to be used and combined in clever ways to solve many of the games puzzles, oftentimes there are as well several ways to the solution of these puzzles, depending on the players skills and characters available at hand. The game is accompanied by fairytale-like music, graphics and narration, feeling a little bit like a modern fairytale in video game form.

The game was quite the underdog back at it's release and well liked by fand and media alike, which in the end lead to this game up to date having 4 sequels.
