One of the biggest issues my INFP clients struggle with #shorts
One of the biggest issues my INFP clients struggle with: setting clear, concrete goals.
Me: “How will you know when you’ve got it?”
Them: “I’ll just know.”
Me: “Yeah… but… what does that mean?”
Them: “ It’ll feel right…?”
We’re masters at feeling our way through life, but terrible at measuring actual progress.
It’s like trying to build IKEA furniture using good will and intuition. Good luck with your Trasiga Drömmar desk..
So here’s what you can do:
Instead of “I want to be more creative” (feeling-based goal), try:
“I’ll complete one 10-minute sketch daily” (measurable goal)
“I’ll share one piece of work weekly” (trackable action)
“I’ll fill one sketchbook per month” (concrete milestone)
I know we have a weird relationship with planning, scheduling, and checking things off lists. Just remember that using concrete measurements doesn’t make your goals less authentic - it just makes them more achievable.
Your feelings still get to run the show, but you now have actual evidence that you’re doing the things that will allow you to become who you want to become.
