One Trailer Changed Everything – My Return to Warhammer via Necromunda

Not just because I’m showing off my Necromunda Goliath Gangers – but because these minis represent something much bigger.
Years ago, I left the Warhammer hobby.
Age of Sigmar had just arrived, and with it… my love for Warhammer Fantasy died a little.
I wasn’t into 40K. Never really gave it a chance.
Then came the Necromunda reboot trailer.
Gritty visuals. Explosive action. And that voice.
"Welcome to the Underhive."
That one line, delivered by a woman’s voice, sent chills down my spine.
It flipped a switch I didn’t even know was there.
Suddenly, I was back.
Back in the hobby. Back in the lore.
And I went deep. Really deep.
Necromunda became the gateway drug into the insane world of 40K.
And I’ve never looked back.
Painting these Goliaths was part of that rediscovery – and while I was still finding my rhythm after a long pause, it’s not about perfection.
It’s about passion.
