Reviewing the OnePlus 8 Pro six month later, to see if the long-term experience is shaping up well, ahead of the OnePlus 8T launch. After several updates, how's the performance, battery life, camera tech and other bits faring? Well, the OP8 Pro is still one of my favourite smartphones of 2020, and I'm looking forward to that OP8T - stay tuned for an unboxing and review.

While this isn't the absolute best phone of the year, there's lots to love here. From the OxygenOS experience to the serious gaming chops, you get an enjoyable all-round experience. That said, the battery life seems to have degraded over the past few months, which means the OnePlus 8 Pro sometimes dies just before you hit bed.

That camera hasn't really evolved in the long term, apart from the culling of the Photochromatic lens. Photo and video quality is still good, if not as hot as the Find X2 Pro or Pixel phones.

So have you been using the OP8 Pro as your full time phone? Definitely let me know your own review in the comments. I'll be bringing full coverage of the OnePlus 8T from October 14, stay tuned for all of that!
