1,455Reviewing the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, including an unboxing and full comparison vs the original standalone Virtual Reality console. I've been testing the OQ2 for over a week now with a range of great games and immersive experiences, and this is the best option for enjoying VR gaming in 2020 with zero stress.
The Oculus Quest 2 can be yours for £300 in the UK, which is good considering everything you need is bundled in the box. This updated model boasts stronger performance compared with the first headset, so games play with a perfect frame rate pretty much all of the time. The other big upgrade is the display, which now offers sharper visuals. It's not an OLED but you no longer have that screen door effect, while 90Hz experiences should be coming soon.
The standalone nature of the Quest 2 means you don't need anything else to get started. As you'll see from my unboxing, everything you need is included. You'll just need to download some games from the Oculus Store, and I've reviewed a few of my favourites right here on Tech Spurt.
