After the terrible disaster that ruined my modded save, I've been given this mission: to play vanilla Oolite and showcase the base game. No extra ships. No extra equipment. No updated visuals. Just the base game, doing base game things.

I will say up front that I'm not a base game sort of guy, and many of my comments will reflect that. But I want to be clear, "vanilla" Oolite is still a great game! After all, it is built to be built upon, and that's an incredible achievement all its own.

Plus, it still looks cool.
