I participated in the Diablo IV open beta this past weekend. These are my first impressions based on about a dozen hours of playtime with a Barbarian.

Tl;dr - The game is looking pretty good. Combat is dynamic and has a responsiveness and weightiness to it that feels great. The story and world both "feel" appropriate for a Diablo game. There is a bit too much MMO in the game (picking flowers and "mining" ore), and I am NOT a fan of the areas/dungeons in the game auto-scaling with your character. Other than that I am excited to see what changes are implemented for the next open beta weekend!
