Oppo has announced the Enco Free3 earbuds, its latest pair of earbuds. Available in China first, the Enco Free3 features LDAC support, 12.4 mm drivers and up to 49 dB of active noise cancellation.
Oppo has now launched the Enco Free3, a pair of earbuds that will be available from April 3 in China. For reference, the earbuds will retail for CNY 499, which converts to US$72 at current exchange rates. However, it remains to be seen how much the Enco Free3 will cost in other countries, nor when the earbuds will debut outside Oppo's home market.
Presumably, Oppo will release the Enco Free3 elsewhere eventually; its predecessor was available globally. Regardless, Oppo bases the Enco Free3 around a pair of 12.4 mm drivers that it claims are made from bamboo fibres to maximise high-frequency response while improving their overall strength. Additionally, the earbuds support LC3 and LDAC codecs for high-quality Bluetooth playback, as well as AAC and SBC. Thus, the Enco Free3 is capable of handling 24-bit and 96 kHz music files.
Moreover, the Enco Free3 integrates Oppo Alive Audio, which simulates a 360-degree listening experience. Oppo adds that the earbuds can also attenuate background noise by up to 49 dB, courtesy of built-in active noise cancellation. Furthermore, the earbuds should deliver 47 ms latency and IP55 resistance against dust and water. Finally, Oppo asserts that the earbuds should last 5:30 hours with ANC enabled or 7 hours without the feature activated.
