Optimal Code Doesn't Save You
55You can still 'fail ' even if you write an optimal, readable, and overall great piece of code.
This fun idle clicker game forces us to write an optimized code that is run on a drone harvesting our crops. The better we write our code, the faster the drone harvests the crops. We have to optimize not just for time but overall efficiency. What if the crops are not yet ready to be harvested? What if we require carrots more than wood or hay?
There are simply many ways this game can catch us off guard, especially with the body brackets which the in-game IDE refuses to autocomplete.
In this video I dive head first into the unending amounts of upgrades we can unlock, expanding our field, speeding up the drone, and increasing the yield of the crops.
For a true sense of achievement, we have to utilize all the tools we have at our disposal, write bug-free code, and not cry laughing from the inevitable fails we are going to experience.
