Our goal is to identify optimal designs by analyzing armor penetration, kinetic damage, and overall efficiency. Sabot Shells: Featuring high armor-piercing (AP) values but lower kinetic damage (KD), sabot shells excel in penetrating heavy armor. We demonstrate their effectiveness against reinforced targets.
Armor-Piercing Shells: Balancing AP and KD, these shells offer moderate penetration and damage. Our tests reveal their versatility across various armor types.
Heavy Head Shells: With lower AP but higher KD, heavy head shells are suited for lightly armored targets. We analyze their performance in scenarios where raw damage is prioritized over penetration.
