Optimus Prime Gains New Power From Megatron in Transformers. Over the years the fearless Optimus has faced multiple obstacles. And most of them have come from his rival Megatron. The 2 sworn enemies have gone at for many solar cycles. With Optimus staring down the barrel of Megatron's fusion cannon. But in the more recent run of the Transformers comics Optimus would find himself on the other end of the weapon that was used against him. In issue 4 of Transformers Skybound we see a severly damaged Optimus use the Matrix to to restore the energy to a hospital after it was attacked by the Decepticons. Which left him with little resources to repair himself. Noticing this Ratchet tells Prime that he has one option to replace his missing arm. Which is none other than Megatron's arm which comes equipped with his fusion cannon. With the new upgrade Optimus was given a significant boost in power. Which allowed throw Devastator over his shoulder in an incredible feat of strength.
