Oracle of Ages Any% in 1:17:02

The goal of this category is to complete the game with no additional restrictions. This is accomplished by using a complex glitch known as Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE), which at the end of the run allows us to warp directly to the credits with only three of the dungeons fully beaten. Unlike many other speedruns utilizing ACE however, we still need to play through a sizable amount of the game in order to gain access to the tools necesssary to perform the glitch.
Many other techniques are used throughout the run, including RNG manipulation, major skips using damage boosts, and most notably an human-viable pitwalk before the second dungeon, requiring four frame perfect directional changes. This allows us to preserve a cutscene trigger to be used later in the game in order to activate a cutscene state, rendering whirlpools essentially non-existent and letting us sail right into Dungeon 8, saving around 4 minutes overall compared to unlocking and beating Dungeon 6 like we used to in older routes.
This run had a few mistakes towards the beginning, and some noteworthy ones like the Switch Hook room in Dungeon 4 as well as getting knocked into a pit by a Keese on the way to Dungeon 8. These timelosses probably added up to around 20 seconds of reasonable time to save, but the rest of the run was fairly clean.
Timing starts on selecting the text speed on a file. Timing ends on selecting the glitched map tile to warp to the credits. Exact time: 1:17:02.517
