here is that orange game cube I found in the trash a couple of days ago. From some of the different questions, it wasnt the same lucky garbage area that I got the famicom and disk system from a few years ago, this was a totally different place but with just 10 seconds of cleaning on the receiver, everything was back up and running, cost, $4 for an ac adapter :D. A couple of cleaning tips in this video as well as a lot of thanks to everyone for different comments, advice and links for some of my other repairs, you guys seriously rock!!
