The entire goal of this fight is get him onto the upper platform asap. From there you can bait out his useless leap which is free damage.

The current record as of right now goes for a triple standing slide. The problem with that is you're guaranteed to get grabbed which is a fairly decent time loss and it is prone to RNG screwing you over by way of Orange not jumping up to follow you.

By comparison this strat has you throwing Orange up there right from the start after 2 standing slides to proceed with manipulating his pattern.
