Abstract name for an Abstract work...

Rendered in Carrara 8 Pro 64-bit, Took about 5 Hours 18 Minutes for a mere 10 second animation, 640x480, all stock default render settings, 30fps.

Thanks to Cripeman for the Tutorial they posted on the Daz Forums on using Point Force And Particle Emitter in Carrara, Tutorial Video found here:

I didn't apply any Textures or shaders to mine, due to taking so long to render, but not bad for a first time rendering of some thing like this, so far the most complex render/animation I've done, and with the fewest scene elements as well.

The Point Force, Particle Emitter, Sphere, and Light are Grouped together, with a Spin Modifier Applied to the group with about a -0.15 Cycle Per second rate (roughly 1.5 Rotations for 10 second animation) on the Z Axis.

Camera has a "Point At" Modifier Applied to it, with the Group selected as the Object to point at.

Particle Emitter set for using Metaballs.

Scene size = Medium (30ft)

Metaball Influence Set for 5.00,
15,000 Particles, 4000 particles per second +/- 50
Size = 0.20 ft
Mass = 1.00, +/- 0.02 kg
Velocity = 50, +/- 4.50 ft/s
Dispersion Angle = 0, +/- 2.00 Degrees
Emitter Time Range= from 0, to 3 seconds
Particle Lifetime = 11 seconds

Advanced Tab, Air Friction @ 66.48%
Objects Friction On Collision and Bounce Factor set to 0

Point Force Settings, Effects Tab,
Strength= 3000.00 kg/s^2
Field Decay Rate = 41.67 ft
