Orbiter 2014 Beta - How To Install
This video was recorded Sunday, April 20, 2104
1.) Download and install an SVN client. The one I'm using in this video is called TortoiseSVN. It's free and it's open source.
http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads.html
2.) Make an Orbiter 2014 Beta folder somewhere on your computer.
3.) Right click that folder and choose SVN Checkout.
4.) The URL of the repository is: svn://orbiter-forum.com/orbiter
5.) Download the LowRes texture packs. (You have to have them even if you plan on getting the HiRes also.)
If you are in the US, download from here: http://www.alteaaerospace.com/users/martins217/orbiter_texturepacks.html
If you are in the UK, download from here: http://mirror.orbiter-radio.co.uk/orbiter
6.) Once you have Earth_Cloud.zip, EarthLo.zip, MarsLo.zip, and MoonLo.zip, use an efficient archive program like 7-zip to extract the files to your Orbiter 2014 Beta directory.

Common questions I get: What screen recording software do you use? What joystick do you use? What add-ons do you use? Where can I find the XR2 Ravenstar? Where do I download Orbiter? And much, much more. It's all answered in the FAQ I set up at this link (the link is a google document):
