おれのアニミズム - Ore no Animism 3 ~ Resurrection Chapter || Desperate 1cc (Shen)
84This time we're gonna play a game suggested by a Patreon supporter - nian! Ore no Animism 3 is a STG game inspired by Touhou, made by Rodori Dori. It contains usual four difficulties, the highest being Desperate (and indeed it reflects the author's intent) and "Extra" stage, here called "Extinction".
Extinction/Extra stage coming soon~! I have high expectations for it.

To be fair there's little to none information in English about the game itself, so I'll use a brief note from my Patreoner since he/she made it very concise and to the point:
The game features no power levels, you are always at full power.
Instead you collect Fire-Items which increase the temperature meter on the left side of the screen.
A high temperature meter has the following effects:
- More points for capturing spells and killing enemies
- Suicide bullets / denser danmaku patterns / overall increased difficulty
- When the outer frame turns from blue to red, you can use the "Ignite-Shot" by pressing the "C"-Key, which will lower the temperature meter and has various effects depending on your selected character (see below)

In summary: A high temperature meter means higher difficulty. The temperature meter will decrease when you die or use an Ignite-Shot, but will NOT decrease when you use a normal bomb.

Playable Characters:
There are 4 playable characters.
Here are the important gameplay details for each (left to right in the character select screen):
Ryu
Focused: forward shot plus slower homing "snakes"; medium damage; medium-narrow range
Unfocused: Forward shot plus fast homing lasers; medium damage; whole screen
Bomb: Deals medium damage to the entire screen, then clears bullets for a few seconds; medium-long duration
Move Speed: Slow / Normal
Ignite Shot: A slowly-expanding circle around your position; good for protecting you from bullets; low damage
Special Ability: Larger bullet graze radius
Shen
Focused: Strong penetrating fire-laser plus arrows; narrow range
Unfocused: Multiple arrows; medium-narrow range
Bomb: Big explosion; very high damage to the entire screen; short duration
Move Speed: Normal / Fast
Ignite Shot: very high damage to a single target; very good for bosses; Tracks bosses / enemies position and appears around them
Special Ability: Ignite Shot charges much faster than with other characters
Loss & Zeke
Focused (Loss): medium-narrow shot; medium-high damage; creates small "explosion clouds" which deal damage
Unfocused (Zeke): wide spread shot; medium damage; good for stages!
Bomb: Medium - high damage depending on your position, medium duration
Move Speed: Slow / Very fast
Ignite Shot: Similar to Ryu; smaller radius, high damage; use it near bosses!
Special Ability: Main shot has (supposedly) higher damage (???)
Natsume
Focused: Forward shot plus homing spread option; tracks enemies; medium damage
Unfocused: Forward shot plus forward laser option; medium-high damage
Bomb: Multiple lasers cover the screen; short duration; low - high damage depending on your position
Move Speed: Slow / Normal
Ignite Shot: Vertical barrier which follows your position; good for clearing the screen
Special Ability: Much lower Point-of-Collection than other characters
