Orthoturks 2.01 (1444-1454): Bye bye, Byzantium!
3I'm starting a new session as Ottomans. I'm going to convert to orthodox ASAP. In this episode, I attack Byzantium, but I only take Constantinople and Athens so I can have money and the power projection through humiliate . Then I attack Albania and annex them. I also attack Trebizond and Georgia, peacing out Georgia and taking Trebizond. Bohemia calls me into a war they can't win and I decline. Then I beat up Wallachia and take their land. I send some missionaries but "forget" to pay them so as to encourage Orthodox zealots to rise up. With Wallachia annexed, we can accept the demands of the Orthodox zealots and convert our empire! We marry Poland and France and we ally them both. We release Trebizond as a vassal, then we unleash the dogs of war on Serbia. We peace out Bosnia for money and dissolving their alliance with Hungary. Then we annex half of Serbia, taking their gold province by chance and vassalize the rest.
