A long time ago (I forget exactly when... maybe 2016-2017) there was a lot of hype and excitement in the synthwave scene around a video-game demo. The game in question was called "PowerDrive 2000" and was a very cool looking Synthwave themed arcade racing video-game.
To further add to the excitement, it had a strong roster of musicians lined up to contribute music to the finished game and the promotional material stated it was even going to be released on the PlayStation 4.
After much hype, excitement, and a successful crowd funding campaign, news about the game grew ever-quieter. I don't know what happened, but can only assume the developer hit some snags and was unable to finish the game.
I was one of the artists slated to provide music for the game. By 2022 standards, the piece I made for the game had some questionable production value. I have however tidied it up as best I can in an attempt to bring it closer to my current production ability.
