I wanted to say more at the end there about my loss, but I wasn't alone in the room 💀 so I'm just typing it out for the description. I got the sense that assuming no gimmick triggered near the end of the fight, I could squeak through, but since these are the Arena Champions we're talking about, that does happen and it was unlikely I'd win. Still, I'm impressed I got Glossom to his "protective" phase. I honestly thought before starting the fight that I'd maybe get his HP to yellow. The main issues were Millard running out of SP, and not being able to knock down Glossom's shields quickly enough near the end there, triggering the glowing aura. I don't think that just some alterations would let me win, but some alterations + some more levels (like my two 4-stars to max level 80 and the 5-stars to level 90+) would likely work, although I think what should be on the agenda before a rematch is defeating the battle-tested NPCs and seeing if those weapons they drop would give me a big boost. In any case, this fight was quite fun with how much strategizing I had to do. But at the same time, I'm glad fights of this level are few and far between, since I mostly derive the fun from it being a change of pace, not so much that I have to put so much effort in, lol. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/carwaii
