Other potential Geronimo Let's Play games in 2024 trailer
Geronimo Let's Plays second trailer for 2024 - 3 more games I'd like to play if I have time
A compilation of trailers for three other games I which left off the main 2024 trailer as I may not have time to get to them. I was shocked to realise that all three were released in 2019 or 2020. I referenced all of these in the description of the trailer, but I thought it would be fun to share them with you further.
Note that as with the 2024 trailer, this isn't an exclusive list. I've picked out 3 AAA games I really should have got to sooner, there are certainly other titles I'd like to play also. There are bound to be some yet unknown titles released throughout the year which I'll want to play, which sadly may in turn push these ones out due to time contraints. The fact is there are more stunning AAA games on PlayStation than there are either hours available to most people and would cost more than could be afforded to those people too.
Games featured in order:
1) Control
Having seen some gameplay for this game here and then, couldn't find a trailer which I honestly felt really captured this one well. The trailer included is the Ultimate Edition announcement trailer, which being a cross-platform is solely PlayStation based. The PlayStation version at the time of this trailer was released was on the PS4. However an enhanced PS5 version is now available including part of the PlayStation Plus catalogue, which is the version I would play if I am able to get to this one
2) Ghost of Tsumima
Another excellent AAA game which unfortunately passed by without me getting to it, I feel the ship may have sailed on it a bit. Nevertheless I'd still like to play it if I can fit it in. The stunning trailer including here is entitled 'The Ghost' and was for the PS4 console. As with Control, Ghost of Tsushima is part of the PlayStation Plus catalogue, which has the Director's Cut version enchanced for PS5. If I'm able to get to play it, that is the version I will be playing.
3) Death Stranding
The PS4 launch trailer I've included is almost 8 minutes long, which it genuinely needs to be to stand a chance of remotely capturing what this game is about. It's the only trailer I could find which I felt in any way captured the essence of it. It features a high-concept post apocalyptic USA setting that doesn't clue you in immediately to the nature of the surreal events happening to the main character. It's notable for several very recognisable high-profile actors in main roles, not least Norman Reedus, most well known for his role on The Walking Dead.
This is a game I started playing and have a small amount of gameplay capture for, but would have to start over at this point to get back into it. Another one available for PS5 in the PlayStation Plus catalogue in its Director's Cut version, were I to start over and play this for the channel I'd play that version.
