'Other' is always used before a plural noun, unless preceded by some other determiners e.g. my, the, any etc.

'Another' is always used before a singular countable noun.

'Another' means any other (of many).
'The other' means the next of the two.

'That' as a relative pronoun can be omitted if its antecedent is the object of a verb (do..another thing).
