First, a caveat: this isn't a full playthrough - I only play one full turn, so you might consider this more of a play example. Now that that's out of the way, the pertinent info: this is a game designed by John Theissen, published by Hollandspiele and is the first in a series covering campaigns of the American Civil War at an operational level.

This one covers the 1862 Shenandoah Valley Campaign, which is where Stonewall Jackson really earned his reputation as one of the CSA's top generals. The game has some interesting mechanics and plays as more of a sandbox with a lot of operational latitude on both sides.

The second game in the series is also available from Hollandspiele and I plan on doing something on that one as well. It's called Mac and Lee and covers McClellan's 1862 campaign on the Peninsula where the goal was to capture Richmond (it didn't work out that way).
