EDIT: There is one extra step you should do.
Sometimes the pipe push does not give you the exact positioning
To avoid this you can push against the pipe (whatever position you get works for this setup)
All you need to do is move down a little bit, then walk so that you're behind the pipe.
This sets you up on the exact same position 100% of the time.


EDIT(2): This trick is not actually 100% consistent, Very rarely, but possible you can sometimes move an extra amount even if you hold up for 4 frames, it seems to be random. Its very infrequent so just practice it and you'll be fine! If you join the SPM discord we can help you further, please ask questions there or in the comments!







First of all, you MUST hold the direction until the home menu screen appears and then let go of it before unpausing.
Secondly, I personally face right before the up input to see the Tippi cue, I forgot to mention that in this video.
Third of all, this trick is 100% RTA viable, it may sound hard but i've got it down to about 60% consistency on a good day. If you have trouble i'm willing to answer your questions.



1.0 will always work for this trick. JP Wii U VC is 1.0 by default, however English is 1.2 on Wii U VC so it will not work. You can easily know if it would work by seeing if the pipe is not near the wall, if it is far away that means you cannot do the trick unfortunately.


This trick was originally found by Mohoc7, RTA setup was found by Roblox.
Keep in mind this trick is very difficult to get down, but once understood is not too bad.


This video was made by using VLC and recording me watching my video while doing commentary, so it's not the best setup, hopefully it's fine though.


This trick saves 10 seconds, but allows the opportunity to get a Slow or Fast flower, which saves 40, and 50 seconds on top of that respectively.


This also makes the run much better to run, I will be doing attempts on my twitch often :D
